Why You’re Losing the Social Media Game

Everyone is on some social media platform. If you own a business and want to reach a wide audience, their is no better way to do it than through social media. However, having an account and posting sporadically is not going to help you build that audience. Producing valuable content with real substance is what makes the difference.

To go a step beyond, Not posting content at all is definitely not acceptable. I spent the last 7 days scouring the internet for content from some of the most talented local artists and quality businesses that I know of. Unfortunately I found very little in the way of actual content. I saw some advertising of performance dates and a few had websites you could view. This is a waste of an amazing opportunity.

In order to build a strong brand you need to deploy your strongest talents in the form of a fitting content. If you’re a performer use video, have a product, put it on display in various forms. Educate your audience about your industry. Do it in a creative way, and on some type of schedule so that you are regularly bringing value to your audience.

Build your presence on social media by being consistent and persistent. Here are a few pointers to get you started.

I look forward to hearing your success stories.
